What We Stand For.....

Valley Presbyterian Church (PCA) stands on the one foundation, Jesus Christ, who is King and Head of the Church.  It is God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ whom we worship and in whom we live, move and have our being.  We stand on the Word of God, the holy Scriptures, which reveal Christ to us and give us spiritual nourishment for our daily lives.  The Scriptures bear witness that "'no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ" (I Corinthians 3:11).  As a member of the Presbyterian Church in America, our constitution, which is subject to and subordinate to the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, consists of the Westminster Confession of Faith, the Larger and Shorter Catechisms, and the Book of Church Order, which comprises the form of government, the rules of discipline, and the directory for worship.
