Getting Involved

At Valley,  the discipleship process occurs through participation in ministries. Personal involvement in ministries allows us to learn and to grow in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  We find encouragement and support through meeting with each other for worship, prayer, study, and sharing life's burdens. Our relationship with Jesus Christ increases while serving others. Without actively being involved in a ministry we may never fully "... know this love that surpasses knowledge — that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God." (Ephesians 3:19)

What can we learn from Discipleship ?

• To put Jesus first in all things.
• To be obedient to God's Word.
• To experience fullness in our lives through the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
• To be able to love others truly — saved and unsaved alike.
• To make disciples of others.
